Inventory Counter

Pay: $17.00-$18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Location: Multiple warehouse locations throughout Ocala, FL

We’re looking for a dependable Inventory Counter to join a growing team on a temporary 2-month assignment, with the potential for a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

Term: 2 Months Temp Contract – With potential for permanent hire
Job Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory cycle counts using provided inventory lists.
  • Locate parts throughout multiple warehouse locations.
  • Verify part numbers and quantities match inventory records.
  • Report inventory discrepancies and identify potential issues.
  • Recount inventory when necessary to ensure accuracy.
  • Use paper inventory sheets, handheld scanners, and scales for certain parts.
  • Travel between warehouse locations in the Ocala area as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized.
  • Comfortable walking throughout warehouse facilities and searching for inventory in large storage areas.
  • Basic computer and scanner skills.
  • Previous inventory, warehouse, or accounting experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with Epicor or Connect is helpful but not required-training will be provided if the assignment becomes permanent.

This position could be a great fit for someone studying accounting or anyone who enjoys detail-oriented work and problem-solving.
Physical Requirements

  • Frequent walking throughout warehouse facilities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move inventory as needed.
  • Steel-toe boots are required.

No forklift operation or heavy equipment experience is required.
