Material Handler / Packaging Associate

Now Hiring: Material Handler | Warehouse Associate | Production Worker

Are you looking for a hands-on opportunity in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment? We are seeking a dependable Material Handler / Product Tester to inspect, test, clean, and package returned products to ensure they meet quality standards before being reissued. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, production, material handling, quality inspection, packaging, and general labor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect returned products and identify defects, damage, or quality concerns.

  • Test products to verify functionality and ensure all features operate correctly.

  • Use testing equipment and tools to perform product evaluations and quality checks.

  • Clean and prepare products to meet quality and presentation standards.

  • Package tested products securely for shipment or reissue.

  • Perform general labor and production support duties throughout the facility.

  • Maintain accurate handling procedures and follow established work instructions.

  • Communicate product issues and recurring defects to supervisors or quality teams.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Support warehouse and production operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor experience.

  • Experience performing product inspection, packaging, or material handling duties.

  • Ability to identify defects and perform detailed quality checks.

  • Comfortable working with testing equipment and following testing procedures.

  • Ability to stand for an entire shift and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joliet, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 – $16.00/hr.
