Job Overview

We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support on-site construction activities for utility-scale projects in Clark County and Nye County, Nevada. This role is responsible for overseeing project buildout activities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule objectives are achieved while serving as the primary liaison between contractors and project management.

The ideal candidate will have strong construction coordination experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced field environment.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Oversight

  • Oversee project buildout activities to ensure safety and quality standards are followed.
  • Monitor construction progress to ensure work is completed according to project schedules.
  • Ensure construction activities comply with approved design requirements and quality standards.
  • Provide construction-related project support as directed by leadership.

Project Coordination

  • Communicate and coordinate with contractors, supervisors, management, and other project stakeholders.
  • Serve as the liaison between Contractors and Project Management.
  • Support daily coordination of construction activities to maintain project schedules.
  • Prepare project updates and status reports in accordance with project reporting requirements.

Safety & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety requirements throughout construction activities.
  • Oversee Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes to verify work meets project specifications.
  • Monitor field activities and identify issues requiring corrective action.

Environmental Oversight

  • Monitor construction activities for environmental compliance.
  • Coordinate with project teams to address environmental requirements and site concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting construction projects in a field environment.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience coordinating contractors and multiple project stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare project reports and maintain project documentation.
  • Ability to work independently in an active construction environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting utility-scale construction, renewable energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling and project controls.
  • Experience with environmental compliance and field oversight.
  • Knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) practices.
