Locums Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon

We are seeking a locums board certified or board eligible neurosurgeon to provide coverage in a trauma and acute care neurosurgery practice with an elective component at an ACS-verified level II trauma center on the South Texas Gulf Coast. This opportunity offers a flexible block schedule, strong APP support, and the ability to work in a modern, state-of-the-art facility while enjoying a coastal lifestyle.

Position Highlights

Practice Setting

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma and acute care neurosurgical coverage
  • Manage emergency and inpatient neurosurgical cases
  • Perform elective neurosurgical procedures as appropriate
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and APP support
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and documentation
Requirements
  • Board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery
  • Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current experience in trauma neurosurgery
Compensation & Benefits
  • $4600 per shift
