This Associate Technician job is a long term assignment, working from 6:00/7:00am-4pm, Monday to Friday and the pay is $16.00 hour. Must be able to work OT & Saturdays if necessary. Below are the requirements for the Associate Technician opportunity
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and maintain a strong focus on quality
Identify, recommend, and implement quality improvements in production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and operational efficiency
Learn and apply the company's lean manufacturing principles
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulations
Perform additional duties and participate in cross-training as assigned
Train new team members on equipment operation and standard work procedures as needed
Accurately complete required paperwork, maintain production records, and report work status
Strong decision-making and prioritization skills
Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment where both individual contributions and teamwork are valued
Ability to stand for extended periods (approximately 80% of the shift)
Frequent use of hands for handling, feeling, and manipulating components
Ability to reach above shoulder height and below the waist
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques
Good hand dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while meeting safety and quality standards
Ability to frequently bend, kneel, lift, and sit as needed to meet production goals
Must be able to communicate in English
Must have a HS Diploma or GED
