Operations Manager – Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and significant relevant operational leadership experience may be considered.

Operations Manager – Skills + Experience Requirements: 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse operations, purchasing, inventory management, logistics, quality, or supply chain environments. Demonstrated success managing teams and leading operational functions in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation, logistics, and material flow processes. Experience developing performance metrics, improving processes, and driving operational efficiencies. Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. Working knowledge of warehouse equipment, inventory systems, and operational best practices. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Hands-on leadership style with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong customer service focus and ability to collaborate across departments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, based on business needs.

Operations Manager – Job Duties: Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals and growth objectives. Provide leadership and oversight for warehouse operations, purchasing, inventory control, quality assurance, and logistics functions. Establish departmental goals, budgets, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve operational performance. Partner with warehouse leadership to improve material handling, receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes. Ensure inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, labor productivity, and efficient resource utilization. Oversee purchasing and inventory planning, including supplier management, forecasting, replenishment, and inventory optimization. Monitor supplier performance and ensure inventory levels align with business needs. Lead quality initiatives by ensuring products meet customer specifications and industry standards. Review customer quality concerns, corrective actions, and opportunities for process improvement. Develop, coach, and lead high-performing teams while fostering accountability and collaboration. Conduct safety meetings, support safety training, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and leadership teams to support business objectives. Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, and other operational regulations. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Operations Manager – Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in both office and warehouse/manufacturing environments. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including up to 10–12 hours per day as needed. Ability to work at a computer for extended periods while performing administrative and reporting tasks. Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements while using computers and equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, customers, and internal teams in person and by phone. Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Ability to work in climate-controlled office settings and non-climate-controlled warehouse environments. Ability to work occasional extended hours based on operational demands.
