Help dialysis patients pass time by engaging them with a variety of arts and crafts activities.
Duties of Volunteer:
- Check in with art therapist for directions
- Work chairside with patients on crafts
- Assist with seasonal art displays, matting/framing
- Make copies of coloring pages and puzzles for lobby table
- Help with seasonal events (art shows, workshops, etc)
- Prepare and clean art materials before/after use
Qualifications:
- Creative
- Able to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Ability to sit and stand
- Ability to follow instructions
- Punctual and reliable
Serve Fridays between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm on a monthly or weekly basis.
Volunteers must complete application and interview
Onboarding includes a TB test and background check which are offered at no cost to volunteer and are completed at the Centers for Dialysis Care
Attend in-person orientation
