Cardiologist Locum Tenens Opportunity

Practice Setting: Inpatient/Call

Reason for Coverage: Provider retiring very short on docs to cover our four sites

Call Ratio: Weekend call 1-2 weekends a month and maybe 1-2 per week when not on call weekend

Average Number of Clinic Patients Per Day: Inpatient only

Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: Varys

Number of ICU Beds: Youngstown 50

Number of Cardiologists Physician in Group: 7

Other Cardiologists will be present during locum's coverage

Patient Age Demographic: 18 and up

Documentation System/EMR: EPIC

Procedures Required: Treadmill Stress Tests, Electrical Cardioversions, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Echocardiography, Electrocardiograms (EKGs), Chemical Stress Tests, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Echocardiography, MRI/CT Reads if possible

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days

Submission Requirements

  • Board Certified (Cardiology Only) - REQUIRED
  • OH license (will accept for those who are willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • BLS and ACLS - REQUIRED
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE LISTED SCHEDULE
