As a Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings. This is a client-facing role covering a leave, with oversight of a team of five individuals including three engineers/mobile technicians, a Facility Coordinator, and a Receptionist.

Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 4 months (possible extension)
- Pay Rate: $35.00-$37.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; may need to be available after hours
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
As a Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings. This is a client-facing role covering a leave, with oversight of a team of five individuals including three engineers/mobile technicians, a Facility Coordinator, and a Receptionist.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage facility operations for sites serving the client
- Provide complete oversight over all facility operations
- Oversee HSE, fire, and life safety compliance
- Manage vendor contracts
- Lead and manage a team of five, including engineers/mobile technicians, a Facility Coordinator, and a Receptionist
- Travel to sites as needed, including occasional trips up to 290 miles round trip to the furthest site (trips over 200 miles include a reimbursed rental car; shorter trips are reimbursed by mileage)
- Leadership qualities
- Some Facility Management background
- Skills related to standard MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) with some knowledge of Fire Safety
- Some experience managing direct reports
- Basic computer skills
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field
- Right experience is more important than formal education credentials
- Onsite, client-facing role
- Must be available after hours as needed
- Occasional travel required; furthest site is approximately 290 miles round trip
- Trips over 200 miles: rental car provided and reimbursed
- Trips under 200 miles: personal vehicle used with mileage reimbursement
