About the Role:
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating residents with speech, language, and cognitive disorders. Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, and cognitive disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct regular updates and evaluations to measure progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Monitor and document resident progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing suggestions for modifications
- Participate in staff development and education, sharing expertise and best practices with coworkers
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- New York State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust and rapport with residents and staff
