ILST will participate in caring, assessing, writing goals like budgeting, food shopping, physical fitness, job searching, medication management etc. to improve their independence. ILST will be given their job description upon hiring. The applicant should have a bachelor's degree with 1 year experience, associate degree with 2 years' experience or a high school diploma with 3 years' experience working with people with disabilities. They are expected to have a car and a valid NY state driver's license.
