Independent Surveys of Navigation Channels
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Independently conducts surveys of the district's navigation channels to locate shoaling channel deficiencies, sunken vessels or obstructions that may interfere with use of the waterway. Directs the use of equipment, vessels, and personnel to gather information on channel conditions.
